WHAT IS MATTERPORT

Matterport is a three-dimensional system that allows to create realistic, fully immersive digital twin of any space. It consists of both hardware and software proprietary solutions that helps to create a digital twin of any space. Once a space is scanned with our top of the end Matterport Pro2 camera it generates a 3D tour of this  space that can be accessed online  providing a virtual 360 degree walk-through for the space . In other words it acts as an fully immersive 3D media helping to reach more customers in order to win them by showcasing your business or a property.  A space can be a single room, an office/shop with many rooms located on a single floor or it can be a huge multi storey  building representing a business or a property.

Boats, caravans and planes for sale or lease are also can be scanned in order to reach more buyers and let them to inspect them in full no matter where a buyer or an asset for sale is located.

During scanning with the Matterport camera it captures 360 degree images with a resolution over 100 megapixels. It also captures 3D data with built in  lasers( LiDAR system) that allows to get precise measurement and even to build a 3D model of a space by using point cloud data captured by the built in LiDAR system.

 Matterport is required detailed scanning of a space and it may take one hour to scan a 150 square meters space. However once scanned, cleaned by us and processed by Matterport a 3D tour of a space is ready to be used by a customer.  Matterport processing takes up to 48 hours so the tour can be delivered within 2 days.

The page content is outdated since new Matterport Pro3 camera was released at the end of 2022. Wingman Media now owns both Matterport Pro2 and Matterport Pro3 models in addition to a BLK360 scanner that we have used for Matterport scanning for outdoor areas in full sunlight.
We will do our best to add all information about Matterport Pro3 model and it’s fantastic features. It is our main camera now for creating Matterport 3D tours.
